Meuf is launching a collection dedicated to women in the coffee industry , highlighting their expertise, vision, and impact on specialty coffee culture. This batch comes from Las Tres Hermanas , a small family farm located in the hills above Monsonte, in the heart of the Dipilto coffee region.
Producer Cynthia Morales carries on her father's legacy by exclusively cultivating the Bourbon Tekesic variety, an old and rare lineage selected in the 1950s and 60s in El Salvador for its remarkable aromatic profile. Uncommon and demanding, it yields a cup of exceptional finesse.
The washed process highlights the precision of the terroir: meticulous sorting of the ripest cherries, careful pulping, then delicate drying on African beds at the Bridazul station, guaranteeing exceptional consistency and aromatic purity.
In the cup, this Nicaraguan coffee develops a bright acidity , accompanied by vibrant notes of lemon , intense cocoa nibs , and a smooth, melting toffee . An elegant balance, ideal for those seeking a clean, refined, and expressive coffee.
Beyond this microlot, Cynthia Morales is actively involved in her community: as a producer, instructor at the National Coffee School in Dipilto, and a key figure in local development. By selecting this coffee, we support sustainable coffee farming , meticulous craftsmanship, and the inspiring journey of a woman who is driving her region forward.
This lot was imported by The Good Sourcing , thanks to the work of Gabriela Parfait.
