Meuf pays tribute to women in coffee, highlighting their expertise, vision, and impact on specialty coffee cultivation. This lot comes from Las Tres Hermanas, a small family farm located in the highlands of Mosonte, in the heart of the Dipilto coffee region.

The producer, Cynthia Morales, continues her father's legacy by exclusively growing the Bourbon Tekesic variety, an ancient and rare strain selected in the 1950s–1960s in El Salvador for its remarkable aromatic profile. Uncommon and demanding, it offers a cup of great finesse.

The washed process highlights the precision of the terroir: meticulous sorting of the ripest cherries, careful pulping, then delicate drying on African beds at the Bridazul station, guaranteeing exceptional consistency and aromatic purity.

In the cup, this Nicaraguan coffee develops a subtle acidity, accompanied by lively notes of lemon, intense cocoa nibs, and soft, melting toffee. An elegant balance, ideal for those looking for a clean, refined, and expressive coffee.

Beyond this micro-lot, Cynthia Morales is actively involved in her community: she is a producer, a trainer at the National Coffee School in Dipilto, and a key figure in local development. By selecting this coffee, we are supporting sustainable coffee farming, meticulous craftsmanship, and the inspiring journey of a woman who is helping her region move forward.

This lot was imported by The Good Sourcing, thanks to the work of Gabriela Parfait.
