This specialty coffee from Costa Rica comes from Finca Licho, a farm renowned for the quality of its microlots. The Aguilera family, multiple winners of the Cup of Excellence, have been growing coffee since the 1940s and run their own micromill, ensuring complete traceability from bean to cup.
The San Roque Honey process consists of carefully sorted harvesting followed by slow, controlled drying on beds near the mill. Felipe and Erasmo monitor each step, resulting in a cup with great aromatic clarity.
On the palate, this lot offers a bright and lively acidity, balanced by generous sweetness. There are notes of ripe nectarine, a touch of cola, cocoa, and a clean, long, and elegant brown sugar finish. A perfect profile for those looking for a sweet, fruity, and complex coffee.
